IN ANY other age, Peter Baffles would have been a UK-wide if not international household name by now. I wrote as much in my Herald Express LoweDown column more than once during the 1990s and early 2000s. Now I've written it again! In fact, Peter is one of the finest magicians I have watched 'live' on stage or on TV since the 1950s (and as a former showbiz columnist and critic I've seen and reviewed dozens of 'em over the years). Quite apart from all that, he's seriously funny too.
